We will gather at the Sandusky Church of the Nazarene located at 71 N. Fulton Street in Sandusky. (On the corner of Fulton and Marion Street). Just one block East of the Catholic Church.
Pick up a sign inside and join us for our Mini March for Life to the Courthouse. We will say a short prayer once we arrive at the Courthouse steps. Then we will head back to the Church for the indoor Memorial Service.
There have been more than 60 million abortions performed in the US since the infamous Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton court decisions were handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court Justices. That action legalized abortion in all 50 states through all nine months of pregnancy in 1973. The most recent statistics show 26,716 abortions were performed in Michigan in 2018, and there have been 1,247,737 abortions in Michigan since statistics were first kept in 1980.
Please join us as we honor the lives lost to abortion. All are welcome to attend this non-denominational service. You can attend one or both events.
Fellowship will follow the memorial service.

Right to Life of Sanilac County will hold its 12th Annual High School Oratory Contest on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sandusky Baptist Church located at 34 Gaige Street in Sandusky, MI. The contest is open to all prolife high school students including home-schooled students in 9th – 12thgrade.
The competition involves researching, writing and presenting a 5-7 minute prolife speech on one of these topics; abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, embryonic stem cell research/human cloning. The public is invited to attend and listen as the contestants give their speeches. Contestants will compete for the following cash prizes: First place - $300; Second place - $200; and Third place - $100. A panel of 3 judges will score each contestant to determine the winners. The students also receive several benefits from participating in the oratory contest; in addition to building confidence in their public speaking abilities, students gain experience with critical thinking and constructing persuasive arguments. Most importantly, they learn how to engage others in constructive discussion about life and death issues.
The contest is free to enter, but contestants must send in a registration form. Once they receive a student's application, the contestant will be sent a confirmation letter and further details about the contest.
Entry deadline is April 2, 2021. Registration forms can be obtained by sending an email to RTLSanilac@gmail.com or by calling or texting Amy Roggenbuck, Contest Coordinator at 810-404-0860. The registration/application form
